• About AVID and AVID Online

Avid Learning, the cultural philanthropy arm of the Essar Group founded in 2009 has, over the past decade, grown into one of Mumbai’s leading public programming platforms and is firmly entrenched in the country’s wider cultural ecosystem. We have been at the helm of programming at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai- India’s only surviving Opera House since its reopening in 2016.In April 2020, we launched AVID Online, a digital further learning campaign on our social media platforms for our followers to engage with a range of varied topics across the breadth of the arts. We regularly feature thoughtfully curated content from leading experts across our social media platforms.

  • 6 Artists with Distinct Practices and Voices collaborate virtually to create innovative work as part of AVID ONLINE’s latest initiative Body Text: Inlaks India Foundation and Avid Learning present Blurring Boundaries: Collaboration + Art Making Today, a Virtual Art Project with Artists Arshi Irshad Ahmadzai, Amshu C, Sanket Jadia, Manjot Kaur, Salik Ansari and Tonoy Sarma. The artists’ work will debut and be showcased in stages on AVID’s social media platforms and on the Inlaks website.
